Goliath, also known as Dolly Maass (7.28% Interior Volume), is a 2016 artwork that explores growth and decay. Stoneware mixed with wild birdseed creates a scaled representation of the gallery's interior volume. Filled with garden soil, the structure comes to life as the birdseed germinates and fungus thrives. As a result, the installation simultaneously blossoms and deteriorates.
